  • Homemade slush pack – mix 3 cups of water with 1 cup of denatured alcohol in a freezer bag. Tightly seal the freezer bag and put it in the freezer until slush is formed. When the slush melts, refreeze it.
  • Use a bag of frozen vegetables.
  • Use an ice up – take ice cubes and put them in a plastic bag. Add water to cover ice cubes and squeeze the air out of the plastic bag. Then, seal the bag. Wrap this plastic bag filled with ice and water in a wet towel and apply this bag on the affected area.

Heat Therapy To Relieve Back Pain

  • Apply heat on the affected area of your back for about 15 to 20 minutes. You can use hot packs, showers and baths.
  • All-day Heat Wraps – they are available in pharmacies and you can pout on them whole day.
  • Use electric heating pad, but be cautious.

Water Therapies To Relieve Back Pain

Water therapies have been found to be very effective to relieve back pain. Here are some water therapies that you can do at home.
  • Take a hot shower or a nice soak bath tub will help you relax your body muscles.
  • Drink plenty of water every day to flush out toxins from your kidneys.
